As an initiative of Silicon Valley Pet Project, The Dancing Cat provides a fun, cage-free space for cats to play and show off their personalities in hopes that they can find new homes. KitTea houses several rescued resident cats, along with a small selection of adoptable cats. Walk-ins are permitted if space allows, but booking a reservation online is recommended. Cat Town has been partnering with Oakland Animal Services to help shelter cats find their forever homes since 2011, and as of October 1st, their newly expanded adoption center is open! Cat Town’s cafe serves pastries, espresso drinks, and all kinds of cat-themed merchandise to commemorate your visit. Reservations aren’t required, but are strongly recommended. Ella’s CatHouse

Ella’s CatHouse & Catnip Bar is a cat adoption center operated by Jameson Animal Rescue Ranch. Guests can enjoy time with adoptable cats in an open cage-free environment. Update July 13, 2020: Ella's CatHouse & Catnip Bar has moved from downtown Napa to the Jameson Animal Rescue Ranch and has been renamed Ella's CatHouse at the Ranch. It is not open to the public, but potential adopters can make appointments to visit the ranch's catio.
