Just like many other businesses right now, Lucky Cat Cafe and Lounge has been affected by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The cafe was closed for two months and only reopened once strict guidelines were put in place to protect the public, staff, and the cats. But since the the reopening, over 30 cats have been adopted.
The United States only has a few cat cafes that are non-profit and Lucky Cat is one of them (see also The Dancing Cat in San Jose, CA and The Catcade in Chicago. This means they rely on your help to enable them to continue finding homes for adult, senior, and special-needs cats. The cover fee that is required for entry is a donation. Weekdays are $10 per hour and weekends are $12 per hour. If you'd like to buy food and snacks, consider upgrading to a "catastic" visit and for $15 your visit comes with snacks and drinks.
They accept donations on PayPal and it all goes right back to helping these cats.
As of Friday, August 14, 2020, these cats are looking for a forever home. Check out the cats currently available for adoption on their website.
